“I like happy endings in movies. I think life has a happy ending.”

That’s film director Jon Favreau, and I want to agree with him.

I’m of an age where I’ve learned that some lives struggle to see even a glimpse of happiness; some lives end far too soon, leaving parents and siblings stunned and bereft.

I’ve lost too many people I love over my lifetime. You probably have too.

But I can’t believe that whatever comes next isn’t a happy ending.

Maybe not for those of us left behind, but for those leaving…I know it’s happy!

Thank God for the angels in our lives. I see at least one every day…
