A tiny glimpse into the incredible work required for this sport, if you want to be a champion:

You’ve probably heard that Lindsey crashed last week on her final downhill race before the Olympics and hurt her knee yet again. She was airlifted to a hospital, but we don’t yet know what kind of damage that knee absorbed in the crash.

Hopefully, you can still watch Colorado’s Lindsey Vonn in the downhill and Vail’s own Mikaela Shiffrin in the slalom in just a few days.

Colorado has the largest number of athletes on the U.S. Olympic team of any American state.

The Winter Olympics begin Friday in Italy.
