You Don’t Understand Business


Long time readers of this blog and those who know me well realize I have a fundamental belief in the connection built by placing strongly emotional content between and around the music played on music stations.

My other consistent theme is the threat to Radio’s long term health brought about by consolidation and its relentless cost-cutting, especially to those with the most creative ability.

I’ve been told countless times over the past couple of decades that I just don’t understand the reality of business.

And someone with a far more stellar reputation and impact than I can ever have has heard this too.
