The ‘X Factor’ hit of the summer
The X Factor, Simon Cowell’s nation-wide talent contest, is the UK’s #1-rated TV show. The US version will debut in 2011.
It brought us Susan Boyle, and countless other viral videos, but the biggest hit from this season is a commercial, which aired during the show’s debut a couple of weeks ago.

The spot became a top trending topic on Twitter, drawing over 9 million tweets during and immediately following the show, bigger than the show itself.
And now there’s a Facebook campaign to make the song a #1 hit in the UK by Christmas.
Can this be totally consumer-generated?
