Check this out…
One of the surprises of the current presidential election cycle is the passion and size of the crowds that Bernie Sanders pulls wherever he campaigns.
I’ll explain why I think that’s happening next Tuesday.
The point I want to make today is that Millenials overwhelmingly favor Bernie over Hillary, at least if the media and political pundits are to be believed.
Every campaign stop, every speech, the room is filled with 20-somethings.
So, do you think it’s coincidental that “Democrat Bernie Sanders has continued to be the most prolific spender on radio, topping the latest monitor once again with a total of 1,953 radio spots purchased.”
That’s according to Media Monitors’ “…latest update on the number of radio spots run by both parties in 82 major markets across America, from April 22nd to May 1st.”
You can see the original post on Al Peterson’s NTS MediaOnline HERE.
Bernie knows how to reach young people. Clearly.
When will Radio stop selling itself short?
Perhaps our appeal is broader than we think.
