What A Woman!

What a life!

Last week we lost Tina Turner. She was 83 and living in Switzerland and maybe because most of us were unaware of how ill she was we felt shock at the news.

Of course, tributes immediately appeared on social media as all the greatest men and women of Rock & Roll shared their grief.

Mick: “I’m so saddened by the passing of my wonderful friend, Tina Turner. She was truly an enormously talented performer and singer. She was inspiring, warm, funny and generous. She helped me so much when I was young and I will never forget her.

Why don’t we say these things to those who’ve meant so much to our lives before they die?

Surely, there are people in your life who helped you become who you are.

Don’t wait to let them know how much you care about them, how important they are to you.

Don’t post a tribute after they’re gone.

Pick up your phone and tell them right now.

Post something personal about them on your Instagram or FB account so those who follow you feel the depth of your love and respect.

Hopefully, Tina Turner felt the love of all of us so touched by her passing.

Hopefully, she knew, in her heart, how significant she was to so many in the world of music, acting and entertainment.

I just want to remove the possibility contained in that word “hopefully.”

I want certainty.

There is someone in your life who needs to know how you feel about them.

Don’t wait until they’re gone.

Tell them right now.

In your life, at that critical juncture between striving and success, s/he was simply the best!

Be certain s/he knows that.
