Turn Every Page

If you’re a reader, you’ve probably read a book he’s written or one he’s edited.

Those are two separate “he’s” but to many they seem forever connected.

Unfortunately, we lost Robert Gottlieb this year. He was perhaps the most important book editor of our lives.

We still have Robert Caro, widely considered to be the most influential biographer of the past century, which is great because I have to read the final volume of his 5-volume biography of Lyndon Johnson, which he’s still working on today (I hope).

BTW, this film scored 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.
