I had already featured their first Christmas ad this year, and now the second proves they really get the power of emotion in branding.

Loneliness is especially difficult around the holidays.

Coupled with the uncomfortable fact that suicide in America is rising (the only major industrialized nation where that fact is true), is the recent announcement that life expectancy in America has declined for the second year in a row. This is especially true for white middle-aged males without college degrees.

Most of us don’t want to think about stuff like this, especially now, in the holiday season, when everyone is supposed to be so happy and excited.

But take just one moment to look up the definition of THIS WORD.

Then ask yourself if you know someone who might be lonely this Christmas and reach out and check in.

A bit of attention and inclusion can be the best gift you give this year.
