The Uniqueness of Humans

This is fabulous!

We all have short attention spans these days. I can’t even sit through most commercials without using my remote control to check out other channels.

So, what I am asking you to do will require effort on your part, and I realize the majority probably won’t take that effort beyond this sentence.

I have found a wonderful video you should watch. It is 37 minutes long.

You should watch it because it will make you smarter, but mostly because it will remind you why you can be, and often are, better.

It’s called “The Uniqueness of Humans” by Robert Sapolsky, a world-renowned professor of neurology, neurological sciences, neurosurgery, and biological sciences at Stanford University.

His presentation is the Class Day Lecture for the graduating class of 2009.

Dr. Sapolsky will inspire you, if you’re patient enough to hear him out.

See?

I told you it was worth it.

Now, go forth and make a difference.
