We can’t just pretend this is still happening.

We can’t pretend that America is the only advanced society where this is a feature of daily life.

We can’t continue to get bogged down screaming that guns are – are not – the problem.

We’ve just got to fix it.

Our children expect us, the adults, to fix it.

I’m not sure this is a solution but perhaps it keeps the endless killing in the forefront of the minds of those we expect to find a way to fix it.
