If you go to a critical care facility, or to a well-run assisted living center or nursing home, you will quickly see each employee taking every opportunity to touch — physically touch — their resident patients.
Well, I think emotional touching is just as powerful.
When you find ways to touch the hearts, the feeling centers of listeners’ brains, they feel better.
And, actually, so will you.
