Iggy Pop wins in Cannes

A campaign for New Zealand internet provider, Orcon Broadband, won the Direct Grand Prix Award at Cannes yesterday.

It really is a great idea, brilliantly executed.

Orcon Broadband was basically unknown before this campaign, which recruited 8 New Zealanders to record a song with Iggy, who was in Miami. Each of the 8 was connected using Orcon Broadband for a live recording.
