Steve Jobs lives on…

There’s a Somerset Maugham quote that says, “It’s a funny thing about life: If you refuse to accept anything but the best, you very often get it.“

That came to mind when I saw this video…

So simply elegant, and created by Tony Fadell, the man who designed the iPod for Steve Jobs.

Like all great creations, it seems so obvious now, a round thermostat that learns from the way we use it.

Jobs believed technology, of itself, wasn’t that magical. It was only when technology was not only beautiful but made our lives simpler and easier that it was worth our attention.

His legacy spreads…

I think he’d like this new thermostat.
