Great parody hits the mark
As usual, I found a way to piss some people off with my comments last week on sending your talent to the Morning Show Boot Camp. I didn’t mean to denigrate the Camp; I meant to make the point that Radio has been stuck in a vacuum of sameness for a generation, and that the best way to stand apart and be noticed, and attract listener evangelists, is to be different.
Creating another “Morning Zoo” with all the usual features is hardly going to be noticed.
One great way to be different is to make certain your talent knows how to tell stories, and your web site gives them a whole new platform to do that.
Look, as this brilliant parody proves, your talent is telling a story about themselves every day, even if they don’t realize it.
The question is: Is this the story you want associated with your brand?
