Gut-wrenching…

Wednesday evening I saw The Impossible.

This film is not for those who want a light and happy escape, but the acting is amazing, especially from Naomi Watts and the young actor who plays her oldest son, Lucas.

She just received an Oscar nomination for her performance. Ewan McGregor, who plays her husband, and the actors who play the two youngest sons are fantastic too.

It is often painful to watch, but it’s based on a true story, and it will move you. Bring kleenex…
