Don’t try to see this as compassion!
Well, he did it. Trump rescinded the protection DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) provided for tens of thousands of people who have spent the greatest part of their life here, in America.
These are the people our country will now arrest and deport.

The thing is, most of the people covered by DACA were brought here as infants or young children.
They didn’t really have a choice, whether to be with their parents who brought them here.
They’ve grown up as Americans. They contribute as Americans.
We should cover the eyes of the Statue of Liberty…
