Are you ignoring it?

Hopefully, you don’t live in a “swing state.”

In Colorado, my home, we have been bombarded with non-stop political ads since early in the year. Virtually every commercial on local TV here is political, and probably will be through the election.

They are unremittingly negative, on both sides.

Whether you live in a contested state or not though, this upcoming presidential election is a hot topic.

So how do you handle that on your show, on a music-based station?

Listeners probably don’t come to your station for political content; they may, in fact, use you to escape it.

Is the answer to totally ignore the topic?

I am not being rhetorical. I’m interested in your response, and I’m sure some of my readers will be as well.
