I’m a big fan of Ken Burns.

His films, shown on your local PBS station, are distinctive in style: The Civil War, The War (WW2), Baseball, and Prohibition to name a few.

He tells stories, using old pictures mixed with interviews of living survivors and participants in the drama that unfolded during their lives.
