The emotion is unquestionable, the purpose clear: honoring, informing, inspiring, thanking.
So the only questions are:
- Who on your team has the passion to move me when I listen?
- Who on your team has the talent to tell stories that can change me for the better?
- Does your company want “awesome” badly enough to provide the resources and budget to produce it?
The whole point of being on the air is to be awesome, isn’t it?
The whole point of devoting your life to this has to be about moving people, creating emotional bonds strong enough to change lives.
Otherwise, you’re just a voice interrupting the music flow.
