Endless competition…
Your station doesn’t compete only with the stations in your town.
You compete with satellite radio, and Pandora, and Spotify, and iPods, and on and on…
It just doesn’t cost very much to create new competitors, like SONGZA, that promise to match commercial-free music to your activity or mood at any given time.
I don’t now whether this newest one is better than any other one.
I do know that if Radio stays this over-commercialized and cluttered, the perceived need for these services can only get stronger.
We can pretend this problem doesn’t exist, but that doesn’t make it go away…
