Pre-Season Radio

It’s really not whether you win or lose…

The reason for pre-season is to see just how good your team really is, to test all the new players under real game situations.

I wish Radio would do the same.

Take off the PPM time-paranoia shackles, put in our rookies and our veterans, and let ’em play.

4 weeks of pre-season football helps new coaches and old evaluate team strengths, establish team chemistry, and get ready for real competition.

And I think a month of trying some new talent combinations, some new plays, and some new coaches would do wonders for most radio markets too.

I know you don’t get a month off from Arbitron, but you should.

You’re paying.
