A blood moon— and the longest lunar eclipse of the 21st century — will occur on the night of July 27 and the morning of July 28. The total eclipse is set to last for 1 hour and 43 minutes.
The eclipse will only be visible in the Eastern Hemisphere, which is why I’m telling you now…so you can book a flight to Istanbul. That would be a gorgeous spot to witness a bit of history.
Or, you can watch it live wherever you are by using this link.
We have poisoned everything
and oblivious to it all
the cell-phone zombies babble
through the shopping malls
While condors fall from Indian skies
whales beach and die in sand
Bad Dreams are good
in the Great Plan
~ Joni Mitchell
