…
There’s no way to understand what they’ve been through unless you are one: a nurse, part of an ED/ER/ICU staff – doctors and nurses – orderlies, food services, nurse’s assistants, PAs, X-ray techs, hospital chaplains…but especially the nurses. All have put their own lives at risk for strangers.
For you and me.
And too many have already died because they took care of us.
And now, as we set new records for daily infections again, as our hospitals start to fill again, as we gp about our busy lives, here they are again.
To care for us. To save us. To hold the hands of those dying alone but for them…
We see you. We love you. We are so grateful for you.
We won’t forget your sacrifice.
