It’s the part of programming I found least interesting: data analysis.
That was a weakness on my part but luckily, I worked with one of the smartest data analysts in our business, Steve Allan.
Steve introduced me to Charlie Sislen of Research Director, Inc. and whenever I could I persuaded clients here and abroad to add Chrarlie and RDI to their team.
No one ever regretted it.
So, if like me, the data analysis part is not something you love to spend hours on, THIS POST is for you.
The link at the bottom of the post will take you to last week’s post, which you’ll also want to check out.
Together, they will show you how the recent changes in Nielsen’s reporting procedure affect your ratings and your format and where trouble may lie ahead.
I will encourage you again to contact Steve and RDI and have a conversation about how they can help your station maximize ratings in your market.
The tools and expertise they offer are unlike any others I’ve found in our industry.
Surely you have time to find out for yourself. Your job’s on the line, after all.
