Rosie’s story…
Some years ago, in the depths of the “Great Recession” brought about by the greed of Wall Street bankers, I posted THIS, a story about someone I grew up with, someone as close to another sister as she could be.
Perhaps because of Carol’s loss, this short story about Rosie brought me close to tears.
Someone you know probably needs your encouragement today.
Don’t let their loss frighten you away when they need you most, right now.
Find the courage to face their circumstance and remind them they are not alone.
You can’t fix it. Words can’t change it.
But you can be there, in silence if necessary, to grieve with them, to laugh with them, hopefully to be a bit of a candle for them, lighting a way ahead.
