It’s that Spotify, which has yet to turn a profit, is spending big money to promote and market its product while Radio, which throws off so much cash flow its like owning a bank, never, ever markets itself.
How is that possible?
How is it possible that so many “civilians” think Radio is either in its last days or already dead?
Why doesn’t the NAB fight back?
Why don’t the largest consolidated groups fight back?
Why aren’t we, as an industry, marketing radio for the incredible success it is with both listeners and advertisers?
And who has a medication for frustration I can use today?
