Humor’s good!

I’m accused sometimes of emphasizing “serious” over “humorous.”

If I do, it’s only because most air talent on most stations is not really naturally funny, and trying to be funny every time you talk is worse than not trying at all.

If you do humor, at least know what works and why.

Jon Stewart has built a huge following using satire. Done well, it’s almost always funny.
