It’s Coming To American TV

12 non-stop hours…

Several weeks ago, I told you about a TV channel in Norway that showed a live feed of a cruise ship going down the coast. 5 million people watched the feed — the equivalent of 70& of the population of Norway — which lasted 5 days.

It’s pretty amazing because nothing really happens, which appears to be the point.

Anticipation of something happening, I mean.

Well, looks like we in America will get a chance to try Slow TV too.

Later this Fall, the Travel Channel will air a 12-hour non-stop live feed of a road trip somewhere in the US. They’re not saying where just yet, but I’ll keep you posted once they do.

The Road Trip will air on Black Friday, supposedly the busiest shopping day of the holiday season.
