The iHeart letter:

I intentionally waited to talk about this because I wanted to be certain I wasn’t reacting out of frustration or cynicism.

I thought I’d share it after Covid. I had no idea we’d still be dealing with the pandemic, still dealing with thousands dying here and abroad. But we are, and I don’t want to wait any longer.

I’m talking about the “open letter” from Bob Pittman to all iHeart employees. It appeared in AllAccess over a year ago, and you can read it HERE.

I read it again yesterday.

I still can’t find one reassuring, positive word about the air talent on iHeart stations who are responsible for building the listening audience used to make Bob so optimistic and wealthy.
