It took 5 attempts and over 4 years before Shannon and I finally made it to Ireland this Fall, the birthplace of both our families a couple of generations ago.

Rent a car and drive out to the rural farm areas and villages of Ireland and you’ll instantly know why it’s called the “Emerald Isle.” Ireland just has a different shade of green than anywhere else.

Strike up a conversation with any local at any venue – pubs, restaurants, shops – and you’ll understand why you can leave Ireland, but Ireland will never leave you!
