HBO Radio

This is what we need!

Radio needs what HBO has: Original, amazing content you can get nowhere else.

If you’re 30 or older, you need to watch the HBO documentary, Herblock:

Don’t you wish we sill had Herb Block to hold our politicians’ feet to the fire, to spread a bit of courage around the land?

And if you aren’t already watching the best new show on TV — True Detective — order HBO today and catch up. The first 3 episodes have already run and it airs tonight!

This show is absolutely addictive. I’m already hoping they make it an on-going series with entirely new story lines each season.

Until Radio comes up with original content this good, good enough that listeners will willingly pay for it out of their own pockets, as we do for HBO, we’re always going to be vulnerable to the Pandora’s and Spotify’s of the world.

Content this good doesn’t come by cutting budgets, reading liners and playing a safe list. It’s expensive. It breaks the mold. It attempts, and sometimes fails, but when it succeeds, look out because once we’ve seen TV this good, we won’t settle for Hawaii Five-0 ever again.

We’re hooked.

It’s as simple as that.
