…
My wife is Shannon O’Brien.
If I don’t go to sleep the night before St. Patrick’s Day wearing something green, I learned (over the past 47 years) I will be pinched awake the next morning.
Today, Shannon and I are in the birthplace of her relatives, County Cork, looking for evidence that can prove her grandparents emigrated to America.
If we can do that, she will gain Irish Citizenship, and I as her spouse, can come along for the ride.
So, I get this spot.
Man, this is a beautiful place!
If you’ve never visited, make your plans. Come!
The landscapes are breathtaking, the people warm and accepting – at least when you’re buying a round at the pub.
