Gifts of Hope

There’s a lot of need this year. Feels like more than previous years, at least to me.

I don’t have to go into detail to explain why: the government shutdown that decimated savings for millions of families, rising inflation making life so much harder, especially for hourly wage earners, tarriffs that punished American farmers and caused mass layoffs in our country, brutal healthcare costs, floods, storms, fires….

It’s an endless list.

But we’re not the only country filled with too many desperate people. Think of Jamaica and the Philippines. Think of earthquake survivors in Turkey and Afghanistan.

And think of the people in Ukraine.

Over 3 years fighting for their lives, the survival of their country, against endless Russian aggression and weakening support by our own government. These poor people must feel exhausted and abandoned.

But there’s a way we can help. You can see it HERE

Generators, personal power generators, are a much-needed gift for many Ukrainians suffering through awful power outages in winter due to Russian attacks on their power grid. If you can afford it, what a gift! It’s a gift Ukrainians will use and appreciate long after this incessant Russian bombing stops. Perhaps two or three families can pitch in together for one? Just one idea…

And I hope you will share this with your family and friends this year.

Knowing already that many of you will, Thank You – and Merry Christmas!
