A time for loving.
We don’t like talking about this, do we?
We accuse those who do of being maudlin, macabre, depressing!
Which is so strange, because it is something every person on earth will experience, including you and I.
I’ve been fortunate, because it is a gift, this extreme intimacy, to be with friends and relatives as they died. No one should die alone unless they choose to, and I don’t think many do.
I have watched this film. I’ve watched the TED Talk featuring this doctor. Both are tremendously moving.
Both are helpful.
