Christmas For The Troops

One easy click

I’m a big fan of the “Making A Difference” segment on the Nightly News with Brian Williams on NBC.

The stories are always uplifting, affirming, and encouraging and they motivate me to want to do more to pay back for the blessings of my life.

Last night, the story was entitled, “A Portrait Of Love.”

And, Xerox has started a project to be sure our troops based overseas get lots of Christmas cards this year.

They’ve made it as simple as can be.

Simply go to: LetsSayThanks.com, select the card you like, personalize it a bit, and click, and a real Christmas card is on its way to a member of our armed forces.

It’s always hard to be away from home, especially when you’re risking your life every day, but even more so at Christmas, the traditional time families come together.

So, take 30 seconds today and do this.

And then spread the word.

God bless our troops and their families, and please, God, keep them safe.

*Thanks to my friend, Allan Hotlen for tipping me to this Xerox program.
