The older I get, the more this type of ad gets to me.
A widower goes about his daily life, has fun at his daughter’s wedding, and tries to re-create his late wife’s tomato sauce, using her recipe.
What I like about it is that it’s clearly designed to feel emotional. The ending is beautiful.
Notice how little screen time is given to Intermarché. A story like this one needs a subtle approach, even if it is designed to celebrate the grocery chain’s 50th anniversary.
