Motivate With One Word?

This says you can

All owners and managers wish they had employees with intrinsic motivation, but as work has increased at the same time pay for that work has been slashed, motivating employees has become a more valuable skill.

What if I told you that using just one word would provide a measurable difference in performance, and employee satisfaction, regardless of the market or station?

Sounds too good to be true, especially to my cynical mind.
