This is inspiring

How many times have I driven past the guy holding the sign at the stop light?

How many times have I averted my eyes when walking by someone sleeping on a street?

I, whose life has always been so blessed, trying to ignore those hanging on by a thread of human connection.

“For I was hungry, and you gave me no meal. I was thirsty, and you gave me no drink. I was homeless and you gave me no bed. I was shivering and you gave me no clothes.” *

Help me see those all around me who I want to ignore, who need my help.

Help me be a better person.

And help the ripples spread…
