I think this video will bring you to tears.

Moral issues, such as “the greater good,” are almost always complex.

What seems clearer to me when I see the eyes of these, our closest primate cousins, is that none of us has the right to use complex life to suit our human purposes, not when it means condemning their lives to such deprivation and pain.

It is heartbreaking to think of what their lives have been, but I am so grateful they’ve been given this small thing before their deaths.
