Opens this coming weekend.
Based on the true story of a conscientious objector, Franz Jagerstatter, who was living in Austria at the outbreak of WW2, this film will not be for everyone.
It’s long. I don’t think it tells the story, which is deeply emotional and compelling, in a way that will leave most viewers satisfied.
Still, for me at least, it was worth it, and so I wanted you to be aware of it.

Opens next week. You can probably find it at your local Landmark or “artsy” theater.
