The Bear and the Hare
We’ve lost all sense of subtlety in American christmas ads.
Mostly, they’re displays of wanton greed with neighbors scornfully gloating about their new car or ginormous TV or smart phone.
And that’s a shame, really.
It continues to distort the very reason we celebrate at all.
I prefer a bit of English decorum, a story more about affection and togetherness than spending thousands of dollars…
