I’d never thought of it this way before.
Seth Godin always makes me think. I don’t save every post, but usually the essence of his thought stays with me.
He always presents ideas in new ways that spark something in me.
So I wasn’t surprised to feel known after reading one of his posts recently.
He basically said that we create because we’re looking to heal something, to change something for the better.
We don’t create when we’re satisfied, when our story is complete.
If you’re not creating as you used to, I suggest you expand your personal horizons outside the studio.
Make new human contacts. Visit a hospice, or a dog shelter, or your parents and open your heart to feeling.
I think our world will always need healing if we just open our eyes to what’s around us.
