1,000 people who hang on your every word.
1,000 people who can’t imagine spending a day without you being part of it.
1,000 people who listen for you, not for the songs and not for the contests.
The way our business works right now, the jock with the 100,000 disinterested, completely passive people the Nielsen meters purport to measure will probably keep his or her job longer.
And that’s part of what’s wrong with Radio today.
