According to Wired.com, “People watched the equivalent of 1,600 years’ worth of Super Bowl ads on YouTube last year. Nearly 40% of that viewing time happened before game day, with another 300,000 hours during the game itself.”
There’s usually a gap between the most loved, most talked-about ads on Super Bowl Sunday and the ones that turn out to be most effective.
I had picked the “Dorito Dogs” as my favorite before the game, and it actually turned out to also be the most effective.
