It’s called “feedback” or “your review,” but I love the word “guidance” best of all, because it accurately describes your role in guiding your employees to their best performance.
“Guidance” doesn’t have the negative association that comes with “criticism.”
So, does that mean its not critical, that you ignore all negatives? No.
That’s where radical candor comes in.
