Woman's Last Stand

Satire works because of the underlying truth behind it.
Warning: This video contains the F word, and if that will offend you, please don't watch it.
I realize there is not one singular "female perspective" any more than there is one singular "male perspective."
And I would LOVE to get feedback from females about this parody.
Here's the original Dodge commercial that ran during the Super Bowl and sparked this response...

Your Choice

I wouldn't (and didn't) do ANY of those things. I wasn't peer-pressured into a married (or non-married) life of misery. No one is worth that amount of self degradation. I know it is only a commercial, but it seems people allow themselves to be placed in these situations. I was young once, but not so stupid that I didn't observe how the adults around me were living out their lives, and many were absolutely miserable. I chose the life I have, and am happy that I did. I was smart enough to know that I didn't need to be married (I HAVE been married & my ex & I are still friends and we are BOTH unmarried) to be happy. I was also fortunate to grow up in a time when I could choose if I wanted children, so I didn't. My bank account is mine, the "mess" in my home is my own to clean, the movies and entertainment are my choosing, and the food I cook (I love to cook) is also my choice. I have plenty of friends who feel the same way.
I know this sounds like I don't have a sense of humor, but I get tired of hearing people complain about the "other half" (male or female) they live with, and act like it isn't their choice. So the "Mad Men" who made this commercial must be pretty miserable. Rich, maybe, but STILL miserable.
Opportunity

Well, here's an example of how to generate interest (hits, etc.) which could well have been done by any LOCAL radio station with a video camera. The idea was out there and VERY obvious, awaiting a response from a personality or morning show.
I wonder how many radio stations do NOT even HAVE a video camera in today's world?
Not all but most

Hey, it's pretty much the world that we live in. Women don't come that way. They turn into that because of the assumption that it is a man's world.
How Sad

Every decent relationship we have - spouse/partner, parent/child (ok, mostly as an adult child), coworker and even with other drivers on the street - is about compromise. Both the male & female perspective here are just flippin' bitter. If one feels they have to compromise everything and the only thing they get back is driving a powerful car, in the male spot, and apparently nothing back from the female perspective, that's sad.
And BTW, all you ad execs, on a vacation in Hawaii I had a convertible Mustang and felt like I was kickin' ass and takin' names, so bad ass cars aren't just for guys anymore :-P
