It’s Award-Worthy Movies Time

So here’s a few to put on your list…

WARNING: If f-bombs and profanity offend you, do NOT watch this video (and obviously, you won’t want to watch this movie either).

Great cast!

LADY BIRD is already getting rave reviews. Saoirse Ronan, who starred in BROOKLYN, and Laurie Metcalfe, who plays her mother in this film and who may win a Best Supporting performance Oscar, help make this movie great. Trust me, you’ll laugh, but you’ll also cry a bit…

NOVITIATE, featuring Margaret Qualley (who, btw, is the daughter of Andie McDowell) playing a 17-year-old determined to become a nun:

THE SQUARE, winner of the Palme d’Or at Cannes Film Festival earlier this year:

Weird, which is why I loved it, but clearly not for everyone.

PHANTOM THREAD, starring Daniel Day-Lewis, scheduled for release on Christmas day. He’s already said this will be the final film of his career:

BRAWL IN CELL BLOCK 99, featuring Vince Vaughan as you’ve never seen him:

LAST FLAG FLYING, just for the cast…

And, THE FLORIDA PROJECT, which I haven’t seen yet, but which gets the rare 5-Star rating from Rotten Tomatoes:
