Hereafter

You need to see it this weekend

You’ve, no doubt, seen the ads on TV.

The film, directed by Clint Eastwood, and starring Matt Damon, opens today, nationwide.

This is one of those times when your job demands a bit of self-sacrifice from you, if you consider having to see what looks to be a really good movie a sacrifice.

What I mean is, you need to see it today or this weekend, because you need to be talking about it on your show Monday morning. And that means, you’ll have to miss a football game you want to watch, or a party you wanted to attend, because you have to work.

This is one of those times you need to be out in front of many of your listeners. Not all, because many will, like you, be going to see it this weekend. And those are the ones who will be calling your show to comment when you bring it up.

This movie will offer tons of emotionally rich topics, things that almost every human has pondered.

I don’t care whether you like this film or not. That’s not the point.

The point is, you need to know about it, to have an opinion about it, you need to have seen it, so you can talk about it Monday.

That’s relevance.

That’s show prep.

That’s the job.
