Forest Man

Humbling…

If you ever think you can’t make a difference in our world, this will remind you that you can.

Every day — every single day — for over 37 years, this guy made it his mission to plant seeds to try to replace the forests that were disappearing near his home, due to flooding, erosion and human cutting.

Watch his story and be inspired:

By himself, he has created an entirely new 1300 acre forest — a forest larger than Central Park in Manhattan — an ecosystem that now is home to elephants, rhinos, deer, even a few tigers.

I’m humbled by his energy and devotion.

And determined to stop excusing my own indifference and defeatism.

Each of us can do something. We may not be able to do everything we want, but we can do something.

This guy proves it.
