“An extraordinary film“

This is not your typical South American drug drama.

The main characters in Birds of Passage are Wayuu, members of an indigenous Colombian tribe, and the film shows how the drug trade threatens their rich culture.

I realize subtitled films are not everyone’s cup of tea, but if that doesn’t bother you, I think this film will stay with you for a long time.
